Labcorp is seeking a Sr. Courier to join our team at 5005 South 40th Street in Phoenix, AZ 85040.

Work Schedule: Full-time. This position floats between all shifts and starts as early as 6:30am and as late as 4:00pm. Overtime and rotating weekends may be required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily pickups
• Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner
• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient manner
• Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up
• Work directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• No experience or education required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current or prior Labcorp experience
• 2 or more years of professional courier or route-based delivery experience, ideally within a medical or laboratory company.
• 1 or more years of experience handling medical specimens or supporting hospital / laboratory operations
• 2 or more years of experience using handheld delivery-management devices or route optimization tools, such as scanners, GPS-based routing software, or dispatch applications

Additional Job Standards:

• Valid Driver's License with travel endorsement and good driving record
• Be at least 21 years old
• Punctual with strong time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Customer service experience
• Ability to problem solve customer issues
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Included with this position is a company vehicle to use for the route. In addition, for only $125 per month, you will have the option of taking this vehicle home with you and using it for personal use.

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
