Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time, in-person contract opportunity is available for an RN or LPN passionate about providing dedicated care within an educational setting for the 2026-2027 school year. Your skills will help a vent and trach-dependent student thrive both in the classroom and on their daily bus commute.

Key Qualifications:

• Active MI RN or LPN license in good standing
• Previous experience as a school, pediatric, or LVN/LPN/RN nurse preferred
• Confidence in caring for vent and trach-dependent individuals
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and healthcare teams
• Comfortable with in-person school environments and school transportation routines

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one nursing care for a verbal and mobile 4th-grade student throughout the school day and bus ride
• Meet student at home in the morning to catch the bus, attend to medical needs during commute, school hours (8am–4pm), and return trip
• Monitor and maintain vent and trach equipment, documenting care and assessments regularly
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and medical professionals to ensure student safety and engagement
• Support the student’s participation in educational and social activities whenever possible
