Interventional Radiology Technologist

In Interventional Radiology at Main Campus Harbert Tower

Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm, with call.

Summary:
Responsible for performing diagnostic, vascular and interventional procedures. May be assigned a variety of other duties by department management to include, but not limited to, patient escort services, quality control, physician assistance and assignment to hospital committees. Responds to the unique needs of all pediatric patients in the unit.

* Associates Degree in Radiology Technology

Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:

Interventional Radiology performs minimally invasive procedures on any organ of the body except the heart using image guidance. Image guidance can include CT, fluoroscopy and ultrasound. Most procedures are performed in IR suite located in the OR. We also perform some procedures at the bedside. In addition to procedures, we manage and staff the interventional radiology clinic as well as support IR physicians in the Vascular Anomaly clinic.
