Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Endocrinology in Maryland

Doctor of Medicine | Endocrinology Location: Maryland Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a skilled Endocrinologist Physician for our client in Delaware. This 120-day assignment begins Aug 3, 2026, offering clinic coverage 3-5 days per week, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 4pm. The role involves managing general endocrinology cases, including diabetes, osteoporosis, and thyroid conditions, seeing approximately 10-15 patients daily. Responsibilities and Duties Provide clinic coverage 3-5 days each week. Focus exclusively on clinic patients; no inpatient responsibilities or call. Work schedule is 8am to 12pm, followed by 1pm to 4pm. Manage an average of 10-15 patients per day. Conduct 30-minute follow-up appointments and 45-minute new patient visits. Treat common cases such as Type II diabetes management, osteoporosis, continuous glucose pump management (Medtronic/Omnipod insulin pumps), and hypo and hyperthyroidism.
