The M-290/M-140 Design and Analysis group is seeking a mechanical engineer to work on designs supporting spent fuel shipping containers. The successful candidate would perform mechanical system and hardware design, finite element analysis, as well as supporting the fleet of spent fuel containers. The candidate would work with a diverse team of engineers, scientists, project managers, and shipyards to support the Naval Reactors program. With design and implementation cycles lasting from weeks to months you can quickly have direct input to solve real problems that are affecting the Navy and spent fuel transportation by developing new solutions that will advance the program's mission.
