Take drink and food orders if offering à la carte service. Answer questions about the menu and accommodate dietary restrictions when possible. Provide prompt and friendly service, ensuring guests have everything they need. Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet or table service area. Refill food, beverages, and condiments as needed. Deliver hot or special orders efficiently. Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages. Keep tables, counters, and the buffet area clean and well-stocked. Clear used dishes and reset tables quickly. Follow food safety and hygiene regulations. Work closely with kitchen and hotel staff to ensure smooth service. Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally. Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies. Break down and clean up the breakfast area after service ends. Store leftover food properly or dispose of waste as required. Prepare the area for the next service or shift. What We Are Looking for in a Hotel Restaurant Server: High school diploma or equivalent Demonstrated experience with a strong focus on guest satisfaction. Exceptional ability to manage time effectively and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Excellent skills in engaging with guests and collaborating seamlessly with team members.
