Regional Equipment Finance Specialist

Primary Office Location: 1205 Westlake Dr Suite 260, Berwyn, Pennsylvania 19312. Position Title: Regional Equipment Finance Specialist 2 Position Overview This position is primarily responsible for providing sales, marketing, initial underwriting and servicing of medium to large commercial loans/leases via equipment vendors, manufacturers and their customer base. The incumbent develops new vendors and manufacturers, identifies commercial prospects, and maintains existing relationships to exceed established sales revenue goals. The role collaborates closely with CEOs, CFOs, and finance managers to present the profitability value of the FNB Indirect Vendor Program and manages the asset and credit quality of the existing portfolio. Primary Responsibilities Initiate vendor, manufacturer (Mfr.) and commercial customer contact daily to generate, manage and close transactions. Build and maintain a constant pipeline of applications through vendors and manufacturers. Follow up and monitor production volumes and communicate daily from application to documentation to transaction funding status. Collect and review financial statements and tax returns with vendor, Mfr. and customer to explain credit decisions. Review documentation for accuracy and explain the documentation in detail with vendor, Mfr. and customer. Demonstrate knowledge of Lease/Loan products and a strong understanding of financial statements. Interact daily with vendors, Mfr., their sales group and customers to provide proposals, payment quotes, rate buy‑down payments and structure municipal lease proposals. Build vendor, Mfr. trust for permission to work directly with their customers. Provide detailed payment calculations, interest rates to customers and vendor/Mfr. sales teams. Build and maintain relationships with CEOs, CFOs and Finance Managers to secure preferred lender status. Research and critically analyze vendor and Mfr. product and financial strength prior to offering our program. Gather industry and competitor information and report back to the director. Alert and work with Bank's Regional Managers on write‑ups for customers financing through the vendor and Mfr. who are already Bank customers with high exposure. Promote Bank services to commercial vendors, Mfrs. and commercial customers and introduce them to the relevant Bank lender. Handle multiple transactions concurrently, adjust daily schedule at a moment’s notice, and travel distances as needed to meet customers and sign documents. Ensure credit, transaction, documentation and accuracy on all approvals and bookings. Coordinate with the manager and sales assistants on flyers, e‑mail marketing to vendors and Mfr. Review weekly a summary of production/sales results and activity. Provide feedback to management on programs to generate business in the designated territory. Monitor competitor’s programs and recommend program adjustments to stay competitive. Serve as a leader among peers and coach other Regional Equipment Finance Specialists. Perform other related duties and projects as assigned. Serve as a risk manager for the business by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing and monitoring the risk encountered daily, as required by F.N.B. Corporation’s risk management program. Minimum Requirements Minimum Level of Education: BA or BS. Minimum Years of Job Related Experience: 5. Skills Required Excellent project management skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service skills. Proficiency in MS Word (Basic), MS Excel (Intermediate), and MS PowerPoint (Basic). Experience in a sales and relationship position related to commercial banking or leasing. Knowledge of business finance and the ability to read and evaluate financial statements. Licensures/Certifications N/A. Physical Requirements or Work Conditions Frequent driving (car, van, truck).
