HOSPICE REGISTERED NURSE (RN) – Full Time Liberty Hospice provides state‑of‑the‑art care and pain management services for patients and families facing terminal illness, emphasizing strength, dignity, and compassion. Responsibilities Apply a working knowledge of nursing theories and concepts. Provide care and documentation that meets reimbursement guidelines. Coordinate physical care with the patient, family, physician, and hospice team. Communicate with patients and families at all levels. Collaborate with agency personnel. Attend and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and quality reviews as scheduled. Requirements Current RN licensure in the state of practice. Successful completion of a nursing education from an approved school of nursing. Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience, with at least one year of hospice nursing experience preferred. Knowledge of the framework, function, and organization of a home health and hospice care program and the nurse’s role as a member of the patient care team. Working knowledge of nursing principles and practice according to the nursing practice act, agency policies and procedures, and reimbursement guidelines. At least 12 hours of continuing education annually. CPR certification. Accept travel based on agency need as well as weekend, evening, and holiday call assignments. Visit for more information.
