Certified Pharmacy Tech - Travel Job

Minimum Requirements:

• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician registration required.
• National Pharmacy Technician certification required (CPhT or ExCPT).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of hospital pharmacy or inpatient pharmacy experience.
• Experience with automated dispensing systems such as Omnicell.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, specifically Epic.
• Ability to perform intermediate pharmaceutical calculations and prepare non-sterile and sterile (IV compound) medications following complex verbal and written instructions.
• Knowledge of state and federal controlled substance regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or formal training in hospital pharmacy operations.
• Experience with robotics, automation, and other pharmacy-specific technologies.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM.
• Rotating shifts required, including evenings and weekend coverage as part of the rotation.
• Unit: Inpatient hospital pharmacy.
