We are seeking a skilled and passionate professional dog groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in grooming techniques, possess a deep understanding of dogs and dog breeds, and demonstrate exceptional care for animals. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail oriented and possesses patience, empathy and compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
Grooming Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Perform bathing, de-matting, brushing, scissoring, and styling to breed standards and/or owner preferences.
- Utilize grooming tools and equipment with expertise, including clippers, blades, scissors, brushes, dryers, and vacuums.
- Properly clip and file nails, clean ears, brush teeth, and express anal glands to ensure the dog's health and readiness for grooming.
- Adhere to sanitation procedures and grooming safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
