SR Accountant

SR AccountantThe Senior Accountant's primary role is to perform monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger duties as part of the Corporate Accounting team. Additional responsibilities include knowledge transfer activities, process improvement, and implementation support. Successful candidates for the role must be detail-oriented, resourceful, organized, customer-focused, deadline-driven, and team players.Responsibilities:Oversee daily Treasury functionsAssist with preparation of month-end financial statementsPrepare balance sheet reconciliations for high level accountsMaintain and operate standard period-end closing schedulesPrepare and post accurate journal entries related to assigned areas of accountingPrepare bank reconciliationsEnsure all activities comply with relevant policies and proceduresSupport audit requestsComplete month-end close activities, such as subledger reconciliationsSupport projects, implementations, and knowledge transfers as assignedEnsure timely response to internal and external stakeholdersRequired skills:Strong written and spoken communicationExcellent time management and detail orientationThorough and accurate process documentationAnalytical, problem solving, and organizational skillsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in AccountingCPA preferred5 years of experience in multi-location/entity or public company experienceExternal audit experience preferredStrong knowledge of US GAAPERP experienceProficiency with Microsoft OfficeAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
