About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required; 3+ years recent experience strongly preferred for first-time travelers. License: DC RRT License required Certifications: RRT, BLS, PALS required prior to start Must-Have: Pediatric experience strongly preferred. Weekend availability is required. No Request Time Off (RTO) will be approved. Description: This position is for a Respiratory Therapist in the NICU setting. The position requires a commitment to working weekends only, specifically Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Candidates must confirm their willingness to adhere to weekend-only shifts. All certifications must be obtained prior to starting in the role. Experience in neonatal and pediatric care is highly emphasized. The role may involve floating within the scope, but not to sister facilities. Modules for training are non-billable and involve no additional compensation beyond regular hours. Successful candidates will work within a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center. Child-friendly attire is a requirement. Compliance with all required documentation and no background issues is mandatory. Orientation hours are required prior to starting.
