Do you love kids? Are you looking for a fun, flexible and supportive environment? If so, we'd love to have you join our team! We are a faith-based half-day preschool located in the South Park area of Charlotte. We are looking for candidates for our school year which runs from August through May. We currently have a position open for a floater for four days a week.
Previous experience is appreciated but if you love working with kids we can teach you the rest! We offer a great work environment, paid holiday and teacher work days and low student to teacher ratios.
Floaters are responsible for:
Support classes ranging from toddlers to five year olds
Assisting teachers with transitions and providing breaks throughout the day (bathroom, lunch, etc).
Working with children in groups or one-on-one, depending on the needs of children and the subject matter
Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with fellow staff, parents, and administration
