Radiologic Technologist (X-ray) - ARRT

Position Summary:

MLee Healthcare has been tasked by our client to find a dedicated Radiologic Technologist, whether newly licensed or experienced, who is eager to deliver high-quality services as part of a close-knit team in a hospital setting. Key Responsibilities:

• Follow instructions from Physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging.
• Talk the patient through the procedural steps and answer questions to lower their anxiety.
• Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to the specified position.
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to themselves and to the patient.
• Follow correct techniques and procedures such as patient shielding.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
• Manage the radiology supplies inventory by monitoring stock levels, forecasting future needs, and placing timely orders.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or a related field.

Certification / Licenses:

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in X-ray.
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Current BLS for healthcare provider CPR/AED certification.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of X-ray equipment operation, safety protocols, and imaging techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care and ensuring patient comfort throughout procedures.
