Operating Room Registered Nurse

This position offers an elevated seasonal winter rate. If your traveler starts on specified dates, they will receive the standard rate until the rate change date, at which point the seasonal rate will take effect. Rates will return to standard amounts after a specified date. Call requirement is 7 to 8 weekday calls and 3 weekend calls on a 6-week schedule. You may be required to float to nearby facilities. Type of facility is an acute care hospital. Total staffed beds are 189. Scrub color is flexible. Charting system used is Meditech. Daily census includes an average of 7 patients. This unit supports various procedural specialties, including robotic surgery. Staffing and scheduling type is self-scheduling. Patient ratios are 1:1 for both day and night shifts. Weekend call is evenly split among all nurses. Interdisciplinary support available includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Special procedures performed in this unit involve a variety of surgeries. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Failure to float may lead to termination of assignment. If required for the assignment, effective communication devices will be provided. Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless for previously agreed-upon interviews. All non-billable modules will be included in non-billable hours. Module completion will be documented consecutively.
