Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to support surgical procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting. The candidate will assist surgeons, ensure a sterile environment, and manage surgical instruments and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all equipment is functional.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
• Follow strict infection control protocols, including cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of equipment.
• Support preoperative and postoperative patient care as directed by nursing staff.
• Respond promptly to call-ins within 30 minutes and accommodate evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate surgical records.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Surgical Technologist.
• Proven OR and scrubbing experience, including orthopedic and DaVinci surgeries.
• Previous travel experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and surgical instrument handling.
• Ability to work under the supervision of an RN and follow department policies.
• BLS certification required.
