Distribution CenterWarehouse Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead coach and develop warehouse employees to achieve operational goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving inventory control order processing picking packing and shipping.
• Establish and monitor operational metrics to drive performance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA ISO company policies and all safety regulations.
• Develop and implement policies procedures and training programs that support operational excellence.
• Analyze warehouse processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
• Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counting inventory controls and warehouse management systems.
• Collaborate with Operations leadership on facility layout product flow and warehouse optimization initiatives.
• Develop and manage departmental operating and capital budgets.
• Maintain strong relationships with transportation providers customer service sales scheduling and other cross-functional teams.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts utilizing Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement methodologies.
• Oversee disposition of damaged expired recalled and returned inventory.
• Serve as a project leader during warehouse management system implementations or upgrades.

Qualifications

Required

• Demonstrated leadership experience in warehouse distribution logistics or supply chain operations.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Excellent communication coaching and employee engagement skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed operational decisions.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with Oracle WMS or other warehouse management systems.
• Experience with Power BI advanced Excel or business analytics tools.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience working in ISO 9001 environments.
