Roles & Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to deliver exceptional care to emergency department patients
• Educate patients and their loved ones about treatment plans and recovery
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in patient medical records
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of the nursing process in emergency settings
• Excellent patient care documentation practices
• Effective collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Requirements

• Active or willing to obtain Oregon nursing license
• Current ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications (or willing to obtain)
• Minimum 2 years of recent emergency department experience in an acute care hospital
• Skills checklist completed within the past year
