Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current and active state SLP license/certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP process, assessment, and documentation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and manage individualized IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services within the school environment
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and required documentation
- Support and educate teachers and family members regarding students’ communication needs
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere
