Audio Visual Technician

Job Summary POSITION: Audio Visual Technician DEPARTMENT: Operations REPORTS TO: Director of Operations Essential Duties and Responsibilities Setup, operate, breakdown, inventory, and maintain broadcast, audio, lighting, and video equipment. Broadcast concerts and special events with A/V requirements. Operate equipment to support successful event production. Provide technical support throughout events as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 3 to 5 years of experience working in a live performing arts venue, center, or theater. Technical degree or certification preferred. Knowledge and experience working with stagehand personnel. Knowledge of operations, maintenance, and facility management. Working knowledge of applicable OSHA, state, and other work environment safety regulations. Working knowledge of fire and public safety issues.
