The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview The Neurodiagnostic Technician is responsible for obtaining standard and complex recordings, as well as special procedures, EEG recording and advanced testing procedures. Responsibilities Obtain standard and complex EEG recordings. Perform special procedures and advanced testing procedures. Assist with on-call duties for EEG and LTM patients. Conduct inpatient, outpatient, and portable EEG testing. Set up and clean equipment for Long Term Video Monitoring testing. Select predetermined electrode combinations per patient history. Apply suitable electrodes using the 10/20 International Electrode Placement System. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited/formal EEG program or on-the-job training required. Neuroanatomy course a plus. BLS Certification through American Heart Association. Minimum of 1 year of neurodiagnostic experience. EEG Tech Certification required within 1 year of hire. Scheduling Requirements Full-Time Day Shift (36 hours per week) Must be able to take on-call shifts.
