Growth Marketing Lead Elevation Chief of Staff is partnering with a confidential, early‑stage AI‑powered precision oncology company to hire a Growth Marketing Lead . This company builds a platform to help cancer patients and families make better‑informed decisions in complex care situations. Their product integrates medical records, tumor genomics, clinical evidence, AI reasoning, clinical trial matching, and care advocacy tools to help patients understand their options, prepare for physician visits, coordinate care, and advocate for coverage. About the Role This is a high‑impact, hands‑on marketing role for a rising growth leader who wants to build the early marketing function from the ground up. It is not a “manage the agency” role. The right person will be comfortable writing copy, launching campaigns, improving landing pages, analyzing funnel data, testing channels, building content, supporting PR, and moving quickly without a large team. Core mission: fill the funnel, convert users, and learn what drives trust, activation, retention, and paid membership growth. What You’ll Do Own growth marketing across website, paid media, content, email, social, PR, analytics, partnerships, and lifecycle campaigns. Convert the waitlist into active users, trial participants, and paid members. Build and optimize the funnel from first touch through activation, conversion, retention, and referral. Develop clear, credible messaging for cancer patients, families, caregivers, advocates, clinicians, and ecosystem partners. Create patient education content, founder thought leadership, newsletters, social content, campaign assets, landing pages, and case studies. Run fast, disciplined growth experiments across paid, organic, referral, community, and partner channels. Build reporting around acquisition, conversion, activation, retention, CAC, channel performance, and revenue contribution. Work closely with product and operations to understand user behavior and turn insights into better onboarding, engagement, and conversion. What We’re Looking For 5–8 years of marketing experience, with startup experience strongly preferred. Hands‑on experience across growth marketing, digital marketing, content, paid acquisition, website optimization, email, social, analytics, and PR. A track record of driving measurable user growth, funnel conversion, activation, retention, or revenue. Excellent writing skills and strong judgment around sensitive, high‑stakes consumer messaging. Experience in healthcare, digital health, AI, consumer health, oncology, life sciences, or mission‑driven technology is a plus. Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to decide what to test, fix, kill, or scale. A builder’s mindset: fast, resourceful, low‑ego, and comfortable doing the work directly. Location The founder is based in Los Angeles. Los Angeles‑based candidates are strongly preferred , and West Coast candidates are preferred, but the company is open to candidates across the U.S. for the right fit. Compensation Compensation is expected to be in the $90,000–$100,000 range , based on experience, with potential equity participation depending on role structure and candidate fit.
