Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Part-Time

Autumn Lake at Braddock Heights | Frederick, MD
$45–$48/hour | Part-Time

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time opportunity at Autumn Lake at Braddock Heights. This position is ideal for an SLP who enjoys providing individualized therapy and helping residents improve communication, cognitive function, and swallowing abilities.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate residents for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and resident goals

• Provide skilled therapy addressing communication, cognition, and dysphagia

• Monitor progress and adjust treatment approaches as appropriate

• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication and safe swallowing strategies

• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license required

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
