Key Responsibilities Perform transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echoes, and other cardiac ultrasound procedures. Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure comfort and safety. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, adjusting settings to optimize image quality. Recognize normal and abnormal cardiac anatomy and hemodynamics during scans. EMR and communicate results to interpreting physicians. Cerner Document findings accurately in Collaborate with cardiologists and nursing staff to prioritize urgent studies. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment following infection control standards. Key Requirements and Technology Experience Must have skills: - Echocardiographer, Echo Tech, RDCS, CCI, BLS Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology (registered or registry eligible) Active RDCS or CCI certification (required) AHA BLS certification (required) Minimum 2 years of recent experience within echocardiography specialty Proficiency with Cerner EMR system Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, pathology, and ultrasound physics Ability to work 10-hour day shifts (7am–5:30pm or 7:30am–6pm), schedule varies No local candidates within 50 miles Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Strong communication and patient bedside manner Ability to work independently and prioritize in a busy cardiology setting Proficient in digital image storage and retrieval (PACS) Commitment to diagnostic excellence and patient safety Consistent 10-hour day shifts with guaranteed 40 hours per week Opportunity to work in a dedicated cardiology services department Supportive, team-oriented hospital environment Prime Cumming, GA location – suburban comfort near Lake Lanier and North Atlanta Our client is a leading Consulting Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
