Logistics Technician Manpower is hiring Logistics Technicians for Caterpillar in Seguin, TX! Training Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM through September 30 Regular Schedule: 2nd Shift | 5:48am 4:18pm | $19.80/hr beginning October 1 Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are reserved for overtime as needed Play a critical role in supporting the production of world-class power generation equipment Access to Manpower's comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans for eligible employees What You'll Do Support warehouse and material logistics operations by receiving, storing, picking, staging, packing, shipping, and moving materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, tuggers and pack mule and other material-handling equipment while loading and unloading inbound and outbound shipments Utilize warehouse management systems, scanners, and inventory-control processes to maintain accurate inventory records and material transactions Conduct cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies by doing walk backs, and coordinate with production teams to ensure materials are available when needed Follow Caterpillar safety, quality, housekeeping, standard work, lean manufacturing, and 5S practices while supporting continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For Minimum 2 months of warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or related experience, or an industry certification Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and inventory accuracy Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced team environment Preferred Qualifications Previous warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment Familiarity with warehouse management systems, scanners, or inventory-control processes Experience working in a safety-focused environment Strong organizational skills and a commitment to continuous improvement Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel for 10-12 hour shifts Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds on a regular basis Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment and move materials throughout the facility Ability to work indoors and outdoors as business needs require Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment Additional Requirements Resume highly recommended Former Caterpillar employees must meet rehire eligibility requirements Must successfully complete a background check and drug screen Must complete the COPA Assessment About ManpowerGroup, Parent Company of: Manpower, Experis, Talent Solutions, and Jefferson Wells ManpowerGroup (NYSE: MAN), the leading global workforce solutions company, helps organizations transform in a fast-changing world of work by sourcing, assessing, developing, and managing the talent that enables them to win.
