Job Summary:

An inpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients across various hospital units, including ED, ortho/spine, rehab, tele, and Med-Surg. The role requires adapting to different units within the facility and providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate patients conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and recovery.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
  
  
• 
  Float to similar units as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to patient services.
  
  
• 
  Complete all required documentation and transcripts during onsite orientation.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to shift schedules, working 8:00-16:30, including weekends as scheduled.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Active Kansas PT license or valid Compact license required.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year inpatient physical therapy experience.
  
  
• 
  BLS certification required.
  
  
• 
  Ability to evaluate and treat patients in various hospital units.
  
  
• 
  Willingness to float to other units as needed.
  
  
• 
  Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
