Registered Nurse

The Critical Care Registered Nurse provides direct, evidence-informed care to critically ill adults in the ICU (including MICU and Neuro ICU, with cross-training to CVICU). This role uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate complex patient care, including hemodynamic and cardiac rhythm monitoring, rapid response to changes in condition, and safe medication administration. The nurse also coordinates care, guides patient and family education, and helps uphold ICU quality and safety standards.
