Our Mission is to create an environment of healing and compassion, to offer care to those in need and to provide a spirit of mutual respect while upholding our religious mission./ph3Palliative Care RN Responsibilities/h3pCoordinates and completes palliative care consults./ppAvailable as a consultant to patients, families and staff (hospital and hospice) regarding end of life issues and palliative/ppAssisting with education and training of hospital employees; MDs, nurses, medical students, residents, social work and other members of the healthcare team as appropriate/ppAssures compliance with the Joint Commission and other regulatory standards/ppParticipates in quality assurance and assures compliance with and implementation of any resulting recommendations/ph3Qualifications/h3pGraduate of an accredited school of nursing./ppBoard Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing (CHPN) within 1 year of hire/ppBachelors Degree in Nursing preferred/ppBLS certification required/ppTwo or more years hospice and/or palliative care experience preferred/ppTwo or more years as clinical nurse in acute care setting/ppDemonstrated knowledge about homecare, hospice, palliative care,/ppAdvance directives, pain and symptom management and discharge planning/ph3Posted Salary Range/h3pUSD $58.43 - USD $60.18 /Hr./ppThis range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidates qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
