Job Title

Registered Nurse – CVICU (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 8-bed CVICU unit serving an adult and geriatric population
• Manage and monitor patients with complex cardiovascular conditions including CABG, TAVR, STEMI, and carotid procedures
• Operate and monitor advanced equipment including Impella, IABP, and CRRT
• Maintain patient ratios of 2:1, with occasional 1:1 assignments as acuity requires
• Document accurately using the Cerner electronic health record system
• Participate in scheduled float rotation and work every other weekend, or as needed to meet facility staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Active and unencumbered RN license
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1.5 years of CVICU experience (with at least 1 year post-orientation CVICU experience)
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN certification preferred
• Experience with CABG, TAVR, STEMI, and carotid patient populations
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to manage high-acuity cardiovascular patients
