Preventative Maintenance Technician (PRT Technician)

Join the team as a Preventive Maintenance Technician, a critical role responsible for ensuring every rental unit meets the highest standards of safety, functionality, and guest readiness. This position focuses on proactive maintenanceidentifying and resolving mechanical and aesthetic issues before guest arrival to deliver a seamless and "perfect" stay experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections across all rental units
• Identify and resolve maintenance issues prior to guest occupancy
• Complete minor repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, sheetrock, painting, and general upkeep
• Execute scheduled maintenance programs to preserve asset quality and performance
• Ensure all units meet company standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality
• Document inspections, repairs, and outstanding issues using HOTSOS or similar systems
• Coordinate with housekeeping, internal teams, and external vendors to optimize unit readiness
• Maintain organized tools, equipment, and workspaces
• Assist in monitoring maintenance inventory and supply levels

Additional Duties

• Support scheduling and tracking of preventative maintenance activities
• Report major repair needs and safety concerns promptly
• Assist with unit turns and high-occupancy readiness efforts
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and safety standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum age: 18 (21+ if operating company vehicles)
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 23 years of maintenance experience (property management, rental, or hospitality preferred)
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Experience with painting and basic room repairs preferred
• OSHA safety knowledge or Hazard Communication certification preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HOTSOS experience a plus
