Designs must be trend conscious, aligning to brand identity and our target market. Your responsibilities will include various graphic projects; such as graphic apparel design, brand asset creation & packaging design. This is a permanent full time role for a candidate who has advanced Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator proficiency and has robust communication skills that will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.Major ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Design & create original digital art files for various graphics, prints, photos, patterns, texts & logos across categories in women's and men's brandsCreate branding assets and packaging designsCleaning up artworks, re-color, reworking, and performing color separations for production ready filesPrepare CAD work, art files, print packages and tech packs for vendorsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlinesUtilize hand drawing or illustration when necessary to create designsStaying up to date on latest trends and programs such as AI, to better create in innovative waysComplete ad-hoc tasks and assignments as directed by managementRequired CompetenciesTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Possess advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and IllustratorStrong understanding of typography and illustrationsMust be highly organized and detail orientedMust have technical knowledge for apparel/product development and printing.Must have an exceptional eye for colorways and color matchingMust have strong communication skills and the ability to follow-up when neededMust be able to perform efficiently with tight deadlines and goal drivenAbility to work in a very fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracyMust be able and willing to lift and carry up to 10 lbs., perform frequent repetitive finger, hand and wrist motions, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pullingMust be able to sit for extended periods of timeMinimum QualificationsMinimum 1-2 years experience working in a similar roleMust have a degree in Textile Design, Graphic Design or equivalent experienceMust have knowledge of print production and printing techniquesMust have knowledge in typography and layoutsAdvanced in Adobe Illustrator + PhotoshopAbility to hand draw or paint whenever it is requiredUnderstand how to use AI programs such as MidJourneyPreferred QualificationsStrong knowledge of print production and printing techniquesStrong illustration skillsA successful candidate works well in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
