CNC Operator - 2nd Shift

Duties and Responsibilities Sets up machine – set up tooling – install/machine soft jaws as required Make offsets to maintain part dimension tolerance. Responsible for ensuring each part is made within designated specifications. Inspects parts using precision measuring instruments – micrometers – calipers – depth micrometers, bore gauges, plug gauges. Operates hoist / automatic band saw - Saw parts to required specification as required. Follows all Safety instructions and practices. Follows work instructions in place. Minimum Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Good mechanical skills. Basic machine shop practices Ability to use precision measuring instruments. Ability to follow instructions. Basic math skills. Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Trade School or previous machine shop experience preferred Physical requirements Able to lift 35 lbs. on occasion Stand for extended periods - 2 hour periods Some overtime required Maxcess is an equal employment opportunity employer.
