Supply Technician.

Duties Analyzes historical usage, project requirements, seasonal trends, and customer demands to determine and maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages of specialized, non-recurring supply items. Utilizes automated logistics systems to prepare, reconcile, and process material receipt transactions, ensuring accurate inventory records and timely property book updates. Plans and conducts physical inventories of a diverse range of specialized, high-value, and sensitive items to reconcile discrepancies and ensure absolute property accountability. Audits and reviews supply record adjustments, transactions, and supporting documentation to ensure absolute accuracy, regulatory compliance, and completeness prior to database finalization. Coordinates directly with carriers, shippers, and vendors to reconcile shipping discrepancies, track delayed cargo, and resolve receiving errors to ensure the integrity of supply operations. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
