Security Technician - Data Center Projects (Lebanon, IN) *Location:* Lebanon, IN
*Schedule:* Full-Time | Guaranteed 40 Hours Per Week
*Overtime:* Available | Occasional Saturday Work Required
*Travel:* Required for company training (6-12 weeks) with all expenses paid and $50/day per diem
Overview We are seeking motivated *Security Technicians* to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial security systems within a large-scale data center environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in access control, CCTV, low-voltage cabling, and commercial security technologies who are looking to grow their careers in the security industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, service, and maintain commercial access control systems and CCTV/video surveillance equipment.
* Pull, route, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling.
* Assist with system startup, programming, commissioning, and quality assurance testing.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
* Read and interpret project drawings, blueprints, and installation documentation.
* Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and service reports.
* Follow industry standards, company procedures, and site-specific safety requirements.
* Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and fellow technicians to ensure successful project completion.
* Provide professional customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Required Qualifications
* Experience installing and servicing *access control systems*.
* Experience with *CCTV/video surveillance systems*.
* Knowledge of *low-voltage cabling installation and termination*.
* Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues.
* Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working on commercial construction sites.
* Basic networking and IP device knowledge.
* Strong mechanical aptitude.
* Manufacturer certifications related to security or access control systems.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Work Environment
* Commercial and industrial job sites, including data center facilities.
* Physically demanding role requiring lifting, climbing ladders, bending, and extended periods of standing.

*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
