Assistant General Manager

About the Role Assistant General Manager – responsible for leading the team, ensuring first‑class guest experience, and supporting the General Manager in all operational aspects. Responsibilities Have at least one year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in a busy restaurant environment. Work in partnership with the General Manager to coach and develop other team members. Act as the General Manager’s right arm, assuming responsibility to run the restaurant in their absence. Be commercially savvy, bringing ideas that drive service improvements. Maintain the highest service standards, seeking challenging feedback and raising expectations every day. What to Expect Free team meals every shift and unlimited Chai. Competitive annual salary, paid on a monthly basis. Full‑time role, Monday to Sunday – availability required. Weekly rota available at least six days in advance. All‑day dining, with a mix of daytime and evening shifts – not limited to late nights. Access to award‑winning training programmes; 211 staff promoted last year. Paid holiday days at the usual rate; sites closed on Christmas and Boxing Day; an extra day for parents taking children to school.
