Program Instructor (PT)

Job Title: Program Instructor, part-time Department: Education Reports to: School Programs Manager Job Summary Program Instructors are responsible for presenting educational programs to school groups. These programs cover a wide range of science and natural history subjects, and audiences range from a few to hundreds. During school breaks, Program Instructors lead camp sessions in conjunction with other Education staff. Program Instructors report to the School Programs Manager. Major Functions Deliver school programs to preK-12 students visiting the Museum on field trips. Deliver classroom-format programs to preK-12 students as part of school outreach, including but not limited to afterschool programs, family science nights and more. Lead school break camp programming alongside full-time Education staff. Assist with preparations for educational programs as needed. Assist the Education Department with other tasks and duties as assigned.
