Schedule Day shift, working 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 - 19:30, including every other weekend and a holiday during the holiday period. No call required. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in Orthopedic and Trauma care. The ideal candidate will specialize in pre-op and post-op orthopedic procedures, such as total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements, as well as orthopedic trauma cases. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients pre-operatively and post-operatively. Utilize safe patient handling equipment and orthopedic supplies, ensuring best practices in patient management. Monitor patient vital signs and assess for any complications. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while maintaining accurate patient records using Epic EMR. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care delivery. Engage in patient education and support to aid recovery processes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active RN license required. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an orthopedic or trauma setting. BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. Must pass a mandatory EKG examination upon compliance.
