This role provides chair massage to support employee wellness.Schedule: Second Wednesday of every month 10:00 AM 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM 4:00 PMIdeal for licensed massage therapists seeking a consistent, monthly opportunity in a professional corporate setting.Responsible for administering professional massage services to a wide variety of members and guests.Key AccountabilitiesPerform numerous massage modalities and adjust delivery mode to address the needs of each customer.General understanding of body treatments and be willing and able to learn the products and services provided.Therapist must be willing and capable to deliver on site chair massage in a corporate setting (incidental travel, set-up and tear down) in addition to a spa like environment within a fitness center.Must function as an active member of an integrated health and wellness team and support department wide events and strategies.Minimum RequirementsMassage Therapy License for the state of Michigan required.Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 60 days of hire.Must provide own massage chair.2+ years of massage therapy experience required.Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.Experience in sports massage techniques.Good communication skills; listening and verbal.Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. Compensation: $60 - $70/hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
