Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established three-doctor companion animal hospital serving the Parrish community. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian with at least one year of experience who is confident in both medicine and surgery and enjoys working within a collaborative, mentorship-driven team environment.

You will be supported by experienced technicians and hospital leadership while managing a diverse caseload that includes preventive care, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery. In this position, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive examinations and diagnostic workups
• Performing surgical and dental procedures
• Developing and communicating treatment plans to pet owners
• Maintaining accurate medical records and controlled substance compliance
• Participating in hospital rounds and protocol development

Qualifications Needed:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree
• Active Florida veterinary license in good standing
• DEA registration or ability to obtain
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills
