Position: Steward/Dishwasher Location: In person required: 1040 N 54th Street, Chandler, AZ 85226 Shift: Afternoon, Evenings, Nights, Weekends, Holidays (Mandatory) Starting Salary: $16.00 - $20.00 hourly base salary (Based On Experience) Expected Hours: 25- 30 per week (Based on business needs) Supervisory: No direct reports. Position Summary: As a Dishwasher in our upscale dinning kitchen, you play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and flow of our culinary operation. You ensure that all dishware, cookware, and kitchen tools are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for service, contributing directly to the guest experience and the team's success. In this fast-paced, high-volume environment, your attention to detail, efficiency, and commitment to hygiene help uphold the standards of a refined dining establishment. You'll work closely with the kitchen team to support prep and service, while maintaining a clean and safe workspace that reflects our dedication to excellence. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in behind-the-scenes work, thrive in a team-oriented setting, and understand the importance of every role in delivering a luxury brunch experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain Cleanliness Standards - Ensure all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans are cleaned, sanitized, and stored according to health and safety regulations.
• Support Kitchen Operations - Assist chefs and kitchen staff by keeping essential tools and equipment readily available and clean during prep and service.
• Operate Dishwashing Equipment - Safely and efficiently use commercial dishwashing machines and manual cleaning methods as needed.
• Monitor Inventory of Cleaning Supplies - Track and restock detergents, sanitizers, and other cleaning materials to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Trash and Recycling Management - Properly dispose of waste and recyclables throughout the shift, maintaining a clean and organized dish area.
• Maintain a Sanitary Environment - Regularly clean floors, walls, sinks, and surfaces in the dishwashing and prep areas to meet health code standards.
• Assist with Closing Duties - Participate in end-of-day cleaning, equipment breakdown, and kitchen reset to prepare for the next service.
• Collaborate with Team Members - Communicate effectively with chefs, servers, and fellow dishwashers to ensure smooth service flow and quick turnaround.
• Handle Fragile and High-End Items with Care - Wash and store delicate glassware, and specialty brunch items with precision and attention.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a fast-paced, upscale restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
• Strong Work Ethic - Demonstrates reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness and supporting the team.
• Attention to Detail - Ability to clean and handle fine dishware, glassware, and kitchen tools with care and precision.
• Physical Stamina - Capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing repetitive tasks in a high-volume setting.
• Team-Oriented Mindset - Works collaboratively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations and timely support.
• Knowledge of Sanitation Standards - Familiarity with food safety guidelines, proper chemical usage, and hygiene protocols in a commercial kitchen. Food handlers' certificate is required
• Adaptability and Efficiency - Thrives under pressure, manages time effectively, and adjusts to changing priorities during busy brunch service.
• Professional Demeanor - Maintains a clean appearance, positive attitude, and respectful communication in a refined dining environment.
• Willingness to Learn - Open to training and feedback, with a desire to grow within a high-standard culinary team.
• Flexible Availability - Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and evening/night shifts typical of dinner service.
