Safety Technician

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Technician to join our team in Nashville, TN. As a Safety Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment for all employees. Your expertise will help us maintain high safety standards and foster a culture of safety throughout our facility. Responsibilities Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Provide training and support to employees on safety practices and emergency response protocols. Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions. Maintain safety records and reports, ensuring accurate documentation of safety-related activities. Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in safety management. Qualifications Associate's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software. Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) are a plus.
