Experience: A minimum of two years of nursing experience is required, ideally with at least one year in an acute, oncology, home health, and/or hospice setting. Knowledge of the Medicare Certified Hospice Program is preferred. Additional Qualifications: Valid driver's license in Georgia and reliable transportation. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to comprehend various forms of communication. Proficient in operating computers, fax machines, and copiers. Willingness to work a flexible schedule. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment while also being self-sufficient. Compassionate approach to patients and families dealing with serious illnesses and end-of-life issues. Skilled in assessing patient needs and responding accordingly. Ability to maintain composure under emotional stress and respect individual lifestyles. Exemplary documentation skills with attention to detail.
