CDL A Truck Driver

Sanitation WorkerPerforms semiskilled work operating various sanitation vehicles and equipment, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Crew Coordinator.Examples of Duties:Operates sanitation vehicles on assigned route.Assists sanitation laborers as needed.Typical Qualifications:Education and Experience: Less than high school diploma or GED and moderate experience operating sanitation vehicles, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Thorough knowledge of related industry, organization, and department policies, practices, and procedures; thorough knowledge of related industry, organization, and departmental legal guides, recommendations, best practices, ordinances, and laws; ability to operate a motorized vehicle for long periods of time and in adverse weather conditions; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and the general public.
