Cardiac rehabilitation aims to help you recover from a cardiovascular event — such as a heart attack or heart failure — or other debilitating heart condition. This recovery process usually involves physical therapy, exercise and education to rebuild and maintain your heart strength. The Cardiac Rehab Coordinator ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of a specific shift or segment of operations. The position monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values, and creates an environment to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance. The cardiac outpatient clinic will open in May/June.
