Your future role at a glance Location: Nashville, TN Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Department: Computerized Tomography Schedule: Rotating | PRN How you'll make an impact in this role Execute high-precision CT scans to provide radiologists with the critical images needed for accurate disease and injury diagnosis. Navigate advanced imaging technology and patient positioning to ensure both clinical accuracy and a comfortable patient experience. Manage the safe administration of contrast and medications, prioritizing patient well-being and strict adherence to safety protocols. Advocate for patient safety by monitoring clinical status in real-time and maintaining rigorous radiation protection standards. Refine departmental excellence by evaluating imaging protocols and recommending updates to ensure the highest diagnostic quality. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
