Job Opportunity – Medical Surgical Telemetry RN – Ohio

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours per week), weekdays and some weekends. No call required. Patient ratio 1:4-5.

Highlights:

• 27-bed orthopedic surgical unit specializing in musculoskeletal infections and orthopedic trauma
• Epic EMR system in use facility-wide
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Float required within units of equivalent or lower acuity level
• Free parking provided
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required
• Current RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and intermediate-level nursing skills
• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, peripheral line care, and non-invasive airway management
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• 2 professional references required: at least one from a manager/director or formal supervisor
