Caregiver Wanted in Blackfoot on Weekends!

Job Title: Caregiver - Part-time 30 hours a week

Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho

Company: Visiting Angels - Eastern Idaho

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Caregiver to join our team in Blackfoot, Idaho! As a Caregiver with Visiting Angels - Eastern Idaho, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and disabled adults in your community. Our locally owned and operated agency provides at-home care services, and we are looking for individuals who share our passion for delivering compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Transport seniors to appointments or engagements

• Offer emotional support in challenging times

• Converse with seniors and develop friendships

• Prepare healthy meals based on seniors' preferences

• Ensure seniors are reminded to take medications

• Help with light chores and homemaking activities

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team environment

• 1 year of caregiving experience, or willing to be trained

• Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and insurance

• Pass a background check

Schedule:

• Weekdays 8:30am-2pm Monday-Friday

• $2 more an hour for weekend shifts

• Weekend availability if would like more hours

Supplemental Pay Types:

Education:

• High school or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (preferred)
