Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Cardiology (Telemetry)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical Cardiology unit with telemetry monitoring
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Connecticut or compact licensure eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in Medical/Surgical or Cardiology/Telemetry nursing
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Prior experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
