Maintenance Mechanic

About the role As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for planned, unplanned, and preventative maintenance tasks required to ensure safe and efficient operational effectiveness of equipment and systems that support the industrial disposal process. Position Responsibilities Effectively complete preventive maintenance tasks per schedule to prevent equipment breakdowns and operational downtime. Utilize root‑cause analysis skills to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages in collaboration with various teams and stakeholders. Prioritize work to ensure timely maintenance, repair and installation of equipment, tools, and utility systems, and complete all required paperwork and documentation in the computerized maintenance documentation program. Utilize the defined maintenance documentation program to open and close work orders, check out spare parts, and perform other required activities in the plant. Repair and/or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment, including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and replacement as necessary. Observe and evaluate the operation of machinery to diagnose malfunctions using mechanical devices. Review maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities. Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational and safety performance standards. Position Requirements & Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred). Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment. Ability to work a rotating shift schedule. Physical Demands of the Role • Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb.

• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs.
• Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces.
• Qualification to wear a full‑face respirator.
• Consistently work in various weather conditions.

Pay Transparency Base salary range: $82,900.00 – $110,400.00 USD (annualized for hourly roles).
