Title: Palantir Foundry Architect
Location: Any Infosys hub location (Hyrbid)

In this role, you will drive digital transformation for our clients using Spark and Palantir Foundry in a global delivery model. You will research emerging technologies, recommend innovative solutions, and contribute to best practices and standards specific to these platforms. You will provide architectural guidance for one or more projects, design scalable applications, and support project teams with complex coding and issue resolution. The objective is to deliver high-quality technical solutions aligned with Infosys guidelines, policies, and norms. You will be part of a collaborative and inclusive learning culture that values teamwork, rewards excellence, and respects diversity. Possessing Palantir Foundry Solution Architect, Data Engineer Certification is a plus.


Key Responsibilities:
Source Sync:
• Experience with setting up source sync, schema expectation, data expectation, health checks to ensure data quality, data integrity, data availability.
• Experience with setting up Foundry Agent, Agent Configuration, Connections to on- premise system (or) database (or) REST API, SaaS sources, File (or) Object store-based data sources


Data Engineering:
• Possess very strong Spark - Distributed Data Processing framework experience and providing optimal solution balancing - cost of serving use case as well as scalability/usability.
• Possess hands-on experience with Foundry Data Engineering - Code repository, handled both batch and real-time data processing.
• Experience with optimizing Spark code for skewed data distribution for a very large dataset, including partitioning & bucketing strategies.
• Ability to build and manage reusable utilities in Palantir Foundry.
• Experience with utilizing Pipeline Builder for building real-time data pipelines.
• Experience with utilizing AIP Node type in Pipeline Builder for building Gen AI Solution
• Experience with automating unit testing as part of code pipeline utilizing PyTest framework


Data Governance:
• Experience with writing utilities for cleaning up or standardizing metadata (Technical and Business metadata).
• Devise and strategize RBAC, Governance standards
• Enable PI data markings to enable sensitive information access is centrally governed and managed.


Data Quality:
• Experience with setting up schema expectation, data expectation, and health checks to ensure data quality, data integrity, and data availability.


Data Orchestration:
• Enable build schedules to automate dependency-based scheduling (event based, time based)
• Deep knowledge of Foundry SDK-based customizations.


Ontology Modelling:
• Ability to quickly grasp domain/functional needs and model ontology objects, define links, and actions.
• Possess experience with implementing Ontology Edits, Digital Twin realization
• Possessing experience with enabling semantic search, LLM based solution using Ontology objects is a plus.


Application Building:
• Define prototypes, wireframes for workshop applications for enabling operational decision-making - business process workflows.
• Hands-on experience in using Foundry AIP components or toolsets.
• Possessing experience with using AIP Logic, Semantic Search, and Gen AI solutions is a plus.


Data Export:
• Enable outbound data export from Foundry via REST API, Data Export to Object Store, Integration with Reporting Platform


Cost Management:
• Devise Cost Management strategies and bring down overall cost of serving a use case and avoid any repetitive process, people or technology costs involved.
• Have experience with understanding the culture of the ecosystem and tweak estimation model to pre-empt cost, quality, timeline impacts


Gen AI, Foundry AIP, MLOPS Implementation experience is desired.


Leadership Responsibilities:
• Provide inputs for planning activities to meet non-functional requirements in project - performance engineering track
• Participate in customer discussions during requirement analysis with a knowledge of requirements elicitation and analysis tools and techniques like story boarding, use case analysis, agile user stories, to understand system requirements and non-functional requirements
• Leverage architecture frameworks, principles, models, patterns and standards like TOGAF, Zachman etc. to provide recommendations on solution architecture, implementation
approach and deployment options
• Develop design of application using broad knowledge of multiple Build tools keeping in mind conformance to proposed architecture and to achieve functional and non-functional
requirements
• Work on performance engineering activities in project including planning, setup/testing oversight and application, interfaces and performance tuning
• Provide guidance to project teams on knowledge of relevant quality, process and architectural frameworks and planning/reuse tools to improve technical quality and
productivity of the project.
• Provide inputs for build and deployment automation strategy
• Work with project teams to resolve complex technical issues using solution deployment and rollout methods during build, deployment and support
• Perform comparative analysis of multiple products, frameworks and technologies to define technology solutions in a pursuit
• Anchor PoC development to validate proposed technical solution/mitigate technical risk
• Provide inputs to create technology and architectural frameworks
• Anchor presentations to customers showcasing thought leadership
• Wherever relevant, coordinates tasks with team members, sets goals and targets, reviews outputs, gives performance-based feedback to ensure that the deliverables are as per the required standards
